Our story

Housing as a foundation for independence and dignity

Vet Haven Housing Services LLC is a mission-driven organization dedicated to transforming the lives of veterans, adults with disabilities, and eligible individuals across Sacramento County. We believe that everyone deserves access to safe, affordable, and stable Co-housing as a foundation for independence and dignity. Our commitment goes beyond providing a roof—we create supportive communities where residents can thrive and build meaningful futures.

Through our scalable network of supportive homes, we connect residents with essential employment opportunities, government benefits, and community resources that foster long-term stability and independence. We understand the unique challenges faced by our residents and provide comprehensive support tailored to their individual needs, ensuring they have the tools and connections necessary to succeed in their communities.

Terry O’Neal founded Vet Haven Housing Services to turn a simple conviction into practice: that a veteran who has served deserves a safe, affordable home and a straight path back to independence. He leads the organization as Founder and Owner and is a U.S. Army veteran.
